Most of the actual footage has been from streams.
Usually stay away from all media, but did an interesting experiment last night. I turned on Fox and there was live ongoing coverage of both protests and looting. Tons of footage of the acts as well as the horrifying aftermath.
I then turned to CNN for awhile and there was maybe a 20 second montage of footage from protests. 0 shots of destruction and no coverage of what was currently unfolding at that hour in Seattle. Instead it was a conversation about how to be an ally between two people... they cried, they shared, they didn't show a single second of footage
