interesting....Millenials get a lot of shite, but I have to like this trend.

Why? Because it conforms with your own beliefs?
These are semantics. No one was ever "certain", they just believed 100%. There's a difference. Stop mixing up physical facts and beliefs. The earth is a tiny speck of the universe, and its just asinine to think we have all the physical data you would need to know one or the other.

Crime has seen a steady decrease over the last 30 years. i think its working out just fine.

And? You dont have to be in "organized religion" to still believe in God.
You dont have to be apart of a particular denomination or sect. Dont confuse religious institutions with personally unique beliefs.

Religion enables willfull ignorance and vice versa. It divides people along religious and denominational lines. We need more spirituality and less religion in this world. They aren't the same thing.

there are the same percentage of shite heads as there always have been.
its just that now the US population is at 319 million from the 194 million it was 50 years ago.
also, everyone now has a camera on their phone so you can see frick ups from all across the country instead of simply hearing gossip about the a-hole that lives down the street.

Divorce is getting less common. It peaked with the baby boomers in the 70s/80s, and is on a steady slope downwards.

How can you consider yourself so "knowing" if you generalize in such a ridiculous way? You can't be taken seriously, and just make yourself look worse with this one.

Is that the only metric you're using? There are plenty of other things to consider when trying to measure the moral character of a vast population like the US.
Besides, this is a NEW trend, and you won't see the effects in crime statistics. I also don't think crime statistics are good indicator. There could be lots at work in that number, such as prior laws being changed, more awareness about laws, not as many crime statistics being reported etc....so much info out there, and a lot of info available for manipulation.
