After watching both videos, I’d be Shocked if both of those guys aren’t ex military.
They moved with purpose, and almost looked comfortable doing it.
I believe it’s probably hard to train that into folks outside of the military.
I told my wife that I would be absolutely shocked if one of those dudes was not former army or marines. They move on instinct and muscle memory. Few of those guys moved like they had done this before. It was very impressive to see how they performed.

Watching this video plus the Christmas bombing video posted a few years back makes me respect and acknowledge Nashville’s police having its shite together. A complete turnabout from the morons and thugs within BR and New Orleans.

Looked like officer Mike wanted to make sure to get in on the action too

These guys handled business. It's impressive how competently they did their job.

Either that or Nashville does a good job in training their SWAT/tactical people
They definitely were ready

Looks like he (?) was looking out the window by the way she fell? And fell quick either head shot or perfect center mass shot that paralyzed from chest down.
Well it was an AR15 assault rifle so it immediately blew her lungs right out of her body.
So says our President

Saw the below on Twitter, great point in addition to the incredible police response

The woman briefing the men before entry should also be commended. She was exceptionally calm, and provided important information about missing kids, the layout, and the attack so far. Add her to the roster when awards are recommended.
I was thinking the same thing.

Now that’s some footage you’ll never see on an Uvalde bodycam.

I actually got chills watching this. These guys literally chased the gun fire and, as soon as they got to the source, took it down immediately. No fear. No hesitation. Nothing tricky. Just go get em. True heroes.

Any body notice the cop walks by the bulletin board with a large multi color rainbow on it. This church group was likely in the top 1 percent of lgbtqxrt supporters.
The presbyterian church governing body split the organization in two, very nasty separation about 10 years ago over this topic.
Wrong.
There have been several splits in the Presbyterian churches rather than only one.
I understand that this church is PCA which is pretty conservative rather than the PC-USA which leans far left.
There is move among many conservative churches to reclaim God's rainbow. In this situation, it is likely depicting the sign of the covenant after the flood rather than an endorsement of any other movement.
But ask yourself if this evil person would have targeted a school which supported its agenda? No.

If one of the teachers(make or female) had went and got a gun from their car(or wherever) and came back to try to take care of the shooter, that person would have been shot by the cops most likely if they had been walking the halls with a gun.
This is a live event in an imperfect world, but these guys are trained to deal with that scenario as well. As you watch them move and coordinate, understand that many of them have clearly been through scenario training (likely by ALERRT) many times where that was thrown at them.
If you watched the video, you saw the school staff member giving a situational report - that info on armed staff would have been mentioned with a description, but only two missing children were mentioned.

This video should be used in training moving forward. God bless these fine folks.

What you did there…I like it.
I just wish we could treat that dead rat like roadkill.

Compare this to the Uvalde fiasco
These cops were calm, quick, brave and accurate. Very well trained. That’s how it’s done

My God. That alarm going the whole time was awful. Those poor babies must have been so scared.
