To heck with this guy getting into trouble. I'm sick and tired of 11-year-old-girls getting away with everything.

This world is fricked and that kid will continue to grow up as a brat.

Here's the full video. She commits "assault" (around 4 minute mark) when she squeezes by the principal and barely touches him, if she touches him at all.

I’m absolutely shocked that you’re on that side of the fence

All this little shithead had to do was follow instructions, either by the principal, or by the officer and NONE of this happens... completely ignorant of people to ignore that

I’m on the side of 11 year old children not getting assaulted.

She didn’t assault the principal.

There was no reason for the officer to attack her.

SHE IS 11. You fricktard.

If she had bought him a donut he probably would not have been so violent towards her.

I always seem to side with or justify the officer 99% of the time in these things. Adults that resist are trash. Even in the cases of thug kids acting up, it’s because they haven’t been properly raised.

I can’t this time. That is a singular kid. That is a child. Not a mob of angry youths, not a little shithead that idolizes street life and will be dead by age 21, not a group fighting and cussing, that is a single little kid.

It’s embarrassing that a male officer had to tangle with her for any time at all. He should have just yelled really loud for her to sit against the wall or something. She’s obviously freaking out and can’t mentally process how to chill out. If he felt threatened by her then this is the biggest pussy in the history of humanity. Don’t get me wrong, the girl isn’t right either, but that officer is flat out pathetic.

This is a part of a larger problem with today’s youth. The total lack of respect and the need to challenge authority. What was the officer supposed to do? Just let her go? If he let her go what would that have accomplished? It would have shown her that she is rewarded for not following directions and she would have continued to repeat this behavior with the possibility of it escalating. Another thing I noticed was that the principal was quick to turn on the cop by trying to undermine his authority as well. Hey Mr. Principal how about keeping your mouth shut and not telling the cop how to do his job. I hope that you realize Mr. Principal, you are in this situation because when the girl challenged you, you just backed down. Way to go Mr Beta Principal. That girl needs discipline and boundaries and we can assume that these traits were not taught by her parent(s).

I understand if you do not agree with me but all the girl had to do was comply. If she didn’t agree with how she was treated she could have addressed that in numerous other ways after the situation had deescalated.

Not attack her for doing nothing.

Seems pretty easy.

in a longer 77-minute body camera video released by the police department, Christensen can be seen following the 11-year-old-girl around the school as she waits for her mother to pick her up. As he does, he repeatedly points out what he sees as violations of school policy. At one point, he says that the girl took too many cartons of milk from the school cafeteria, and that she “threw a milk on the ground.”

Another time, he admonishes the girl for picking at a sign taped to a door, saying that she could be arrested for damaging the sign. “If you destroy it, it’s called criminal damage to property,” Christensen says, raising his voice. “Yeah, you’re going to go to jail for 50 cents. Yeah, plus resisting, plus disrupting the education process.”

But it was when the girl opens a door that the school principal is standing in front of, brushing against him in the process, that the officer approaches her and begins to use force, claiming that the girl had committed assault as she moved past.

Yeah, frick this guy. He should be arrested and placed in gen pop.

This 11 year old girl was in Special Education.

I wondered if she was autistic/aspergers/etc.

When she is in the door way, but wants to come in and immediately leave....that seemed like something going on.

I don't know her specific diagnosis, but the local news has confirmed that she's in special ed.

This doesn’t even mean having a disability anymore. They stick problem children in those classes that the administrators don’t want to deal with anymore.
