You can see the gun in his waistband at the beginning of the video. Black guy in blue shorts with white Jordan t-shirt on.

despite the absolute number of both ethnic groups increasing.

The AA population and Hispanic population have increased overall. It's just the massive influx of white liberals has outnumbered the population increase of minorities. Misleading statistic. Culcha has increased in austin

Sure some realize that.

The environmentalist hippies who want to add a "small fee" for curbside composting don't realize what they're doing though.

I'm ok with that. 3 times the size of New Orleans where we moved from with 1/5 the murders.

It took me awhile to getting used to feeling this carefree.

It has nothing to do with the color of his skin. Quit race-baiting. It is the fact that he is a thug piece of shite.

it has always been pretty white. In 1950, it was 13.3% AA, which has to be the lowest percent for any confederate major city/state capital. Most of the slave in Texas were out of galveston

Here is a map of Austin.

I remember when BR politicians were interested in copying the model Austin had for their city...guess we went the opposite route

Not to mention how many major cities have Dem majors, even if I disagree with their policies, it's a bit more complicated than that.

Austin isn't catching up to New Orleans any time soon on the dystopia front that's for sure.

Yup. Especially once it messes with the night life or safety of the city. Besides being betas, Austin is a pretty well run city IMO

I mean, can we not all agree that somebody getting shot and killed on one of the most popular streets in America is not a good thing,

i disagree. as a black man who doesn't shoot guns in populated areas and start fights with random people, i believe that the fewer people with this attitude out there that influence others the better.

his kids might actually grow up to not be a thug thanks to their father's sacrifice, or so i hope. probably the best thing he ever did for them.

“It doesn’t fit with [Nobles’] character, I don’t know where the gun came from, but from my understanding, from my children who told me, that saw everything — is that the bike police came and they threw a bike or something in front of him, and the gun went off, and when the gun went off he got up running and that’s when the officers fired the shots,” Kelly said.

makes total sense

I gather there is a group repping the Hoover Crips from H23D (78723 zip code, Northeast Austin, hence all the Eastside chants) and another group is from Houston. The group from Houston may be being antagonized because they're blood (I can't really tell what hand gestures they're making, but a lot of them are wearing red), or maybe just because they're from H-Town.

I figured out it was gang-related when they started throwing up the gang signs at each other. Not exactly the most difficult detective work.
