Who are you to judge another's perspective if it's not hurting you?

If they search for God & feel like they find him....but you call it a "high" like it's a bad thing, I'm wondering, who is the terrible person in that scenario? Who woud try to deny a person closer access to God?

Just because you don't know how to do it doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to. Mind your business

It may have lost all meaning, but it has never been more powerful. A liberal can use it to stop a rational discourse dead in its tracks and garner free shite from the government or other liberals.

Well numb nuts, what you're doing is illegal. No point quoting the federal act if it doesn't apply to you.

Quit breaking the law and killing brain cells.

Well most drug users don't use because of God. It's a bull shite excuse to hide behind. Select people use drugs to reach a "higher power".

If everyone minded their own business on a message board then it wouldn't be much of a message board now would it.

nah. I use certain illegal substances for spiritual reasons (and certain religious groups are exempt from drug laws for these drugs under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act but since I'm not part of any organized religion I can't enjoy that exemption).

so how about you go frick yourself instead.

You eat shrooms cause you like tripping balls.

Some do, & those are the ones I do not judge. Trials have been done with Buddhist monks, doctors, & other people in so called prestigious fields of work whom reported God like interactions

quote:

I once did a lucid dreaming course with a Tibetan monk. It was a really cool day with lots of awesome information. Anyway he was telling the class that the main function in Tibetan Buddhism for lucid dreamind is to teach yourself how to remain aware and conscious while in another state. What this does is enable you to train your mind so when you die and enter through the bardo's you are aware and do not lose yourself to the ultimate dream. If you can remain aware and not lose yourself to the bardo's you will then transcend physical reality and become a being on a higher plane of existance. If you lose your consciousness you are destined to be reborn on the physical plane for another life. I have read a report of a buddhist monk smoking DMT. He reported that this was about as deep as one could go into the Bardo's without actually dying.

It goes on, & there are many similar experiences sourced all over
Monk & DMT
The various reports are actually fascinating, since DMT is naturally produced in the brain & has been found to be released en masse upon actual death

No

Watching live pd proves that is not true

Watching Live PD proves that their war on drugs is, in some ways, very prejudiced. Almost none of the pedestrian stops they do on that show are compliant with law. Every show is littered with 4A and Terry stop rights violations.

The NYPD had a standard practice of planting drugs on innocent, mostly minority people:

LINK

That seems pretty racist.

The Boston drug lab falsified test results so innocent people would be convicted:

I carefully chose the links so nobody would have to give CNN or Huffpo or the NYT a click.

It's become comical at this point. Scalise was painted by the far left as this insane bigot racist homophobe and that turned a massive amount of people off.

Even extremely left of center people are finding out there is no appeasment to be had.

Dallas PD has a case 10 years ago where Hispanic informants have false info to this Hispanic drug officer who planted drywall on targets & called it cocaine.

Luckily he got busted when someone ran a lab test on it. He ran that scam for quite a while, that little weasel ended up getting some time himself IIRC

The chief of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department says police have enforced racist laws

Well, this is technically true

quote:

and wants to change things......

I think he's a little late to the party on that one, pretty sure most, if not all of those have been invalidated.

If he's talking about selective enforcement of otherwise non racist laws, that's on him and his officers to correct. My only caution to that is sometimes the appearance of selective law enforcement just that, only an appearance.

As for drug laws, popular perception often drives laws, enforcement, and sentencing guidelines. So, effectively, many of the same people (think Hollywood) who get outraged by what they perceive as racist discrepancies in drug laws drove those laws by their past portrayal of the particular drug users as well as the placement and effects of said drugs.

I'd say about 75%. Nixon was also trying to bring down hippies and other left leaning groups. Why do you think weed and LSD are schedule 1 drugs, but cocaine and meth are schedule 2?

Exactly. Everything is racist, so basically nothing is.

Add Hitler and Nazi in there with racist.

Are you retarded?! Drugs are not only Americas race issue. Read some mexican news buddy, try to get past the first page. Have you heard of the death penalty that other countries have in order to control the drug issue.

People will fight the law wether its drugs, traffic, simple human common sense, just order all together. Thats what entitled people do. Some laws, I agree should not be on the books but you have to remember that this country is based on the laws of 1700's!

This part isn't true. Prisons are huge money sinks.

Not in LA. The private jails lock people up like cattle and spend way less per day per prisoner than the average. Lining the pockets of the owners and the sheriff's department.

When you read the link, it becomes apparent that what is desired is that we quit applying most laws to black males between 16 and 24.

Certain drugs bring the user into different states of mind that can help them reflect and understand life better. I am a Buddhist, and meditative practices are just one method used to reach different states of mind. Combining meditation with entheogenic substances help me in my spiritual path.
