Can vouch for this.

Maui Jim and Persol have great lenses and really good quality.
Had no luck with Oakley or Rayban they don’t make them like they used to I guess.

Take a look at Bajio. I believe it is a company formed by Costa employees after they were bought out. I think it is a Florida based company and the glasses are made in the U.S., but I haven't verified that as fact. I've heard good things about them and will probably switch to them for my next glasses.

Currently I have in my car:

2 Maui Jim’s
3 or 4 Serengetis
1 Ray Ban
1 Oakley
1 Tifosi
2 Randolph Engineering
1 or 2 Costas

Serengeti’s are little known but the best in my opinion. I put them on more than the others by a good bit. Maui Jim’s and the newer Randolph Engineering are my 2nd favorites to wear.

Costa is luxottica now and I’ve had no trouble with them. Had 2 pairs completely replace for free.

When you decide what you want, check out steepand cheep.com. They often have about half off deals on several brands mentioned above.

For spring/bed fishing, I like Hobie Sightmasters. The rest of the year I’m wearing Ray Bans.

For the folks recommending Shady Rays, I was looking into those. They seem to have great customer service.

I have or had several pairs of costas, maui Jim’s, and raybans, plus a pair of persols.

Ordered two pair of Shady Rays on the recommendation of some golf buddy’s.

Shady Rays also sent me a third pair for free. I pretty much wear just those these days… really like them, inexpensive so not worried about damaging them, and they’re pretty light, so they don’t irritate your nose or ears over time.

Maui Jim is the best lenses. Not frames, but definitely best lenses.

I love my Maui Jim’s but Would never pay 400 bucks for sunglasses. Girlfriend got me an 80% off certificate. I have the onshore…wanted something with the rubber on the nose and arms to prevent slippage when sweaty, and glasses that worked for fishing or a bit more upscale dress.

ETA: looks like the price has come down. “Only” $262.
