Beata Szydlo said on Wednesday that she does "not see any possibility for the refugees to come to Poland" after explosions rocked the Belgian capital a day earlier, according to Polish broadcaster Superstacja.

Will this start being a domino effect starting to spread across Europe?

Pretty influential country and certainly a watershed of some sort in Eastern Europe which has always been more Soviet and hardcore than western Europe. It makes sense that they would be the first major country to get hardcore about it.

If there is any country that should be aware of the importance of border patrol, it would be Poland.

The Blitzkreig scarred the psyche of that country forever I'm sure.

Too late. Europe is already infested. Only takes a few thousand to cause problems.

Poland has been the first country in a certain domino effect before, so we'll see.

What a bunch of racists! Aren't they worried about hurting the refugees' feelings?

There may be a tentative plan within the government to evacuate those in the coming months and years. If so, first step would be to close the border and prevent any more from coming in.

The new government in Warsaw has more in common with our state of Texas' mores than most of it's fellow EU governments. Very conservative and Christian.

Not complaining, merely pointing this out.

My concern is that this will be a big help to ISIS swelling their numbers. People can't flee to Europe so they join the organization to avoid being killed. The correct response would be to fight them for your home turf (what I hope happens) but those people don't seem prone to resistance. They are more of the run or assimilate mindset.

When was Poland ever open to Refugees?

I don't remember ever hearing about Refugees going to Poland. They would probably go to Poland as a Last Resort.
