Go to a doc in the box. Get a shot and a steroid pack.

You can treat it and it goes away in about 7 days or you can leave it alone and it takes about a week to go away.

Anything other than a shot from your Dr. is the wrong answer

Go to a doctor. The home remedy BS doesn’t work. Tried everything.

Get the shot and the prescription cream.

Just scratch it over and over. At least during the scratching part, it feels good.

I thought you were supposed to pee on the affected area. Rinse and repeat.

Go to urgent care and get a shot to help dry it up. Also when I have gone for this reason they normally would give me a prescription for some cream to also speed up the ivy going away

It’s been said before but I’ll sez it again, go to clinic and get the shot and meds.

BTW, the poison ivy rash doesn’t really spread. Your skin will react to wherever the poison ivy oil touches it. The oil can be on clothes or tools and you can get a rash from that. That’s why you NEVER burn poison ivy and if you wash off with a good soap and water soon after coming in contact you might not get the rash.

Grandma recommended Fels Naptha soap. Rub it on and let it dry. It seemed to work back in the day.
