Please tell me some SFW websites

I have a pretty relaxed job with a lot of down time. I try to busy myself but when I'm out of options, the only thing to do is to get on the information super highway. The problem is that other than TD, I'm kind of bored with the internet. Does anyone know some SFW websites that are worth taking a peak at?

Sometimes I go on Wikipedia and look up an article of interest. As you read along, click on the links within the article and enjoy your trip down a rabbit hole. You start off reading about the Battle of Kursk and before you know it, a hour has passed, and you are on an article about the history of the Flintstones and you wonder "how da fuq I get here?"

This is me at work just about every day.
I just got done, and my first tab is IEEE 802 standards, and my last one is on garum.
So I went from boring IT standards crap, to ancient Roman fish sauce.
