Sounds like some of y’all have your kids in shitty schools with shitty teachers. Step your game up and get into a good school district. My kids’ teachers were fabulous throughout this whole thing. Multiple videos a day, individual zoom meetings, etc.

Social media teachers definitely love to act like they are on the front lines of battle.

You seem mad. Are you mad, baw?

Your just jealous that you wouldn’t of been able to even pass you’re praxis

I’d put the blame on the districts being unprepared for a very fast switch to distance learning and giving teachers very minimal guidance. Everyone is making shite up on the fly and it’s been stressful for everyone.

nope
research The Woodlands TX......quite the opposite. But, I'm not directing this at them necessarily, rather at those putting them in the hero category.

Very true
But, as stated above, its people categorizing them as heroes and/or teachers expecting such treatment.

Many of us have moonlighted as a teacher for 2 months in their stead, yet lets kiss your nearest educators backside.
I got tired of hearing "I don't understand #___, I messaged Mr./Mrs. __________ a few hours ago and they still haven't responded."
If you're a teacher and kids are learning from home, respond within a few minutes regardless. You're a damn teacher who is there to help, regardless of the situation.

Please call them "educators".

I’m assuming you’re trying to be ironic?

It is almost like they feel entitled. I hope this does not carry over to their banging students.

can't really be mad at teachers for being unable to be successful in an online environment. Their jobs aren't built for online. I think the average teacher would admit to you that this online distance stuff has been a disaster.
Let’s also admit having to do this in the fly had to be hard

You're mad at teachers for not developing a standardized online system to teach their students? The lockdown started in what, March? It's been three months. I'm sure they're all trying to figure out what works best for them.

Hmmmm, well maybe the fact that y’all fly through them isn’t helping the students’ learning abilities?
You need help with your reading comprehension. Kind of ironic here.

I'm not the biggest fan of teachers because I do not believe in public sector unions and their bargaining techniques.
However, I have never seen anyone

Then you don’t have retired or active elementary and middle school Teachers as friends or followers on social media.
MOST do not do this, but right around early May/late April several attention whoring middle school teachers began posting memes.

Zero consideration that many of the teachers have kids of their own that they have to attend Zoom meeting for and get assignments completed, along with multiple Zoom meetings and emails for their job.
