Please inform me why Entergy is doing rolling blackouts?

Why are they having trouble yesterday and today with keeping up demand when so many in the Baton Rouge area is without power? I do not understand why other than just greed of a private business

Yes they are. Yesterday with no warning but today they gave 30 min warning before hand

DEMCO here in Ascension and our lights only flickered a couple times on Monday but that’s it.

We have Demco in BR and never lost power.

My power randomly went off just after 7 yesterday evening. Came back on after about an hour and a half or two hours.

And also different, after they flickered on Monday morning, the lights went out and the party was over.
51° in the bedroom at the moment. Thankfully I feel very little because I’m numb all over.

They are cutting power tonight? I know they did last night. Entergy was told by their regional operator to do so, it wasn't their call. You do know the power system in BR is connected to a larger system, right?
