When I did summer jobs in plants, while in college, I’d always get a whif of what smelled like Chlorine to me. It was stronger in certain areas, like the tank farm. Don’t know if that’s a bad thing or not, to always smell that, and working in a plant 5 days a week.

ETA: Hard to tell how close your buddy is to the plant but that looks pretty far away, meaning that’s a fricking MAJOR chlorine release.

It is also highly cancerous if you breath that in. Not an ideal situation at all.

I agree but thats an incredible amount. One of my good friends dad is a high level Chem E with Dow, he says that this aint a joke
