Don't think they do free weights so as long as machines are good enough, PF should do you fine

Anytime Fitness looks nice, but they seem a bit overpriced, imo. Your local YMCA is probably a much better choice.

There is one in near me I tried out one time. It is big and has lots of equipment, but no bench press or squat racks, only smith machines. If you travel, I think you can pay $19.99 a month and that includes use of any of them around the country, up to so many times per month. At the end of the day, it wasn't for me, but nothing wrong with the one in my area. I would rather go there than the Anytime Fitness/Snap etc. we have in the area.

Ymca is usually a great option. Planet Fitness is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. No squat racks is the main drawback but they have leg presses, smith machines, and dumbells(only to 75 pds) . They have a really good selection of machines like hammer strength. For the average person that does not do a lot of Olympic style lifts it is a good option for the money.

Yeah. I just don't really care for machines, tbh. It's a mental thing really. I am kind of an old school soul.

Anytime Fitness looked perfect, but I think I can get a better deal than 70+ a month for a year. My YMCA has a bigger gym with an Olympic size pool and their membership is $53/mo.

I actually really like Hammer strength machines . They don't have barbell benches but plenty of benches to do dumbbell bench.

I hear hammer strength machines are cool. I've honestly never tried one.

There is an anytime that charges that??? You sure that wasnt just the price at signup?

To the OP a lot of gyms accept Prime. My anytime does. Shop around a bit. You may be able to join multiple gyms.

Why? Is that low? I don't really know the going rate for gyms.
