Plane Crash Lands on DC Area Highway after Departing Dulles Airport

A Southern Airways Express Cessna 208B crash landed on Loudoun County Parkway shortly after departure from Washington Dulles International Airport. The plane was bound for Lancaster, PA.

Looks like no injuries reported. Weather was crap at the time and Reagan National was on a ground stop.

I wouldn't call that a crash landing. More like a successful landing and a bad parking job.

Well when a plane comes down somewhere it isn't supposed to be, I call it a crash landing.
Not a crash, but any landing you can walk away from is a good one.

I hope they were careful to land on the free highway and NOT on the adjacent toll road. The fines for unpaid for use of the toll road could hurt their bottom line, more than the landing did.
