Good point. You should enlist in the National Guard. Or better yet, lobby your elected officials to commission a citizen militia (since we’re so concerned about constitutional language), sign up, and register your weapons so that they may be well regulated (more fun constitutional language!).

This is well-known and documented. Like some things in the Constitution it MAY BE obsolete. At this juncture, what good would assault rifles do anyone if the military marched on the citizens? Given the fire power that the government has would ar-15s really matter?

We should let people have nukes because if you take them away they will just find another way to kill. Also it's not fair a terrorist could have some old lost Soviet nuke, but I would not have a nuke to defend myself with.
