Just picked up most of the MS gulf coast as part of my territory. If I'm staying there, I want to stay near the beach and near beach bars. Is BSL worth a shite? What about Gulfport? Where should I stay in that stretch and what should I do?

Stay wherever... BSL has the best scene for things to do. Cool little restaurants and bars. But it isn't much. Best food is just down the road at old cuevas bistro.

Does, your territory include Biloxi and ocean springs? If so go there. If not stay in bsl rather than gulfport

Bay St Louis is quiet and nice. Few little spots to hang out. There's a little cafe there (Hummingbird Cafe maybe?) that has an open mic night that can be good.

Have to go to Gulfport/Biloxi/ Ocean Springs to really get into anything. Harbor view on Jeff Davis in Long Beach (where I grew up) is the kitties titties. Food is outstanding and is about 2 blocks off the beach. Island View on the beach in Gpt normally has a good band at the center bar from Thursday-Saturday. Downtown Gpt is like a block East of there with a few bars. The Quarter, EO's, Kelly's....

Biloxi has the higher end Casinos. The Beau, Hard Rock, IP. Always something going on.

Ocean Springs around Washington St. normally has a pretty good weekend crowd. The Office is the main attraction.

I bet there is some good local spots. Get to looking when you are there and you will probably enjoy what you find. Atleast the adventure will bring on some funny stories

Beers, big hoot sticks, the homies and the flock of broads. Or a solo drunken day and night in a casino, always entertaining

Yes it does. But if Im there to see customers in BSL is it worth the drive over? Hows the beach in Ocean Springs? Any good beach bars? I've been to shaggys in Pass Christian and thought that was awesome.

I do plan to wander out to the beach at some point. What is the best section of beach from BSL to Ocean Springs?

Go eat at Salute! in Gulfport. Awesome Italian and big portions. Usually have a few hotties at the bar too.

Is it the same as the other location? Wooden deck, on the water, open air bar, etc?

It's all the same for 26 miles, but the Pass is the most deserted beach if you're looking for peace and quiet, OS beach has a decent regular crowd, and Biloxi has jet ski rentals. If you want to see the freeks, go to the Courthouse Rd pier area in GPT or Long Beach Harbor. jmho.

Yes, and the local rub and tug is only a block away.
