1- It's photoshop

2- Whoever would have taken those pictures, if they were real, would have been dead 20 seconds later and the camera never found.

i don't understand it. why can japan do things that USA couldn't ever dream of. LA would be history if that wave hit anywhere from mouth to slidell.

Have you ever thought why our east coast has barrier islands and Japan and other western Pacific countries don't?

The storms that build across the Pacific push a lot more water in front of them. When that water hit a coast that wasn't rock, it moved the soil and sand any which way it could. If that wave were to hit the Outer Banks, there'd be no outer banks now, nor would there have been in the `1600s for explorers to find a way through to the interiour marshes and swamps.

always some decent sized waves at Kansai(built out into the ocean,) those are a little larger than normal
