Never heard of Red Kamel before. The brand was discontinued in the '30s.

However some googling reveals RJR planned to revive the brand in the '90s as well as 2015. Did this ever happen? (As you can see I know nothing of cig culture)

In addition to being off on basically everything, Bill sure wasn’t concerned at all about spoilers, was he?

Geesh!

That is BS. Maybe 1838. Manhattan was built out way before 1938. That location would be close to the Queensboro bridge .

Google "East 62nd Street between 1st Avenue and the river, 1938" and you get this pic

Incidentally there was still a farm in Manhattan in the 1930s

I stand corrected. Looks like I have a new rabbit hole to go down.

It's confusing because that area is now York Avenue and is right by the bridge and the Rockefeller Institute which looks like it was founded in 1901. I used to live not too far from that area.

Good thing there was another CBS channel in Montgomery. If I had missed the Herculoids and Johnny Quest, 6 year old me would have hunted that fricker down and killed him with my Spiderman cereal spoon.

Grand Central Station, NYC 1929

It's not possible anymore to take such a photograph, as the buildings outside block the sun rays.
