I had one of those. You would put water in the rocket and then use the pump to create pressure. Release the rocket and off it would go.

Yes, this was same timeframe.

I was never satisfied with the flight or distance. Constantly pushing the limits.

And one day, it happened. The wind, the winding of the band, and the throw were perfect. Down the neighborhood street with more altitude and speed than ever before.

Straight over the fence and into the pool of a neighbor 3 doors down and across the street. I managed to climb the fence and get it, but not before getting caught.

I also experimented a lot with weights, strings, and handkerchiefs, making parachutes. My dad was an electrician, so I had so many gadgets to perfect my science.

There was a Hillbilly bread in BR in the '60s (they shot at least one tv commercial in Tiger Stadium; it's on YT), I don't know if it was this same company



I don't recall Hillbilly being around by the time I got to BR c. 1980
