That's my thoughts as well. After my divorce I was vilified to no end by accusations. I won in court Bigly with enough evidence to clear my name yet there were still friends and even my own family who had grown close to her that believed her bs sob stories. I dont want to be that way with them.

Even weirder shite man. All of a sudden I was asked by her to come to her new house and help her with some plumbing issues.
I'm not married but am dating someone and she knows that.

Did you not just read the screen shots from the texts?

Hmmm now that’s interesting.
Worst case, ex-husband sees another vehicle at his old house, assumes you are banging his ex-wife and kills you both.

Take the side of the newly divorced wife if she’s frickable.
OTOH, If the guy is someone that you were pretty good friends with, l wouldn’t frick his ex wife.

She had to move to a new house and is having problems with appliances connecting them and asked me if I could help her. Her ex husband came over a few weeks ago and spilled his guts to me.
I know she has their kids and me helping out would help her and their kids. I'm just torn right now and dont want to get thrusted in the middle of their crap.

The guy is an amazing man. I dont want to do anything to jeopardize our friendship but if he finds out I went to help her then I am fearful that it would piss him off and I don't want that. Their divorce is very fresh right now.

She’s 100% going to tell that dude you were at her house, even if you actually do help her
You’re an idiot if you think otherwise

Reminds me of that guy who started a thread on here asking if he should keep helping a family friend move her stuff for free in the hopes she’d finally let him hit it.

Only had one couple in our circle get a divorce. The guy was a long time friend and the wife cheated and was a count. She had nice tits, but it was an easy choice that he was going to be the choice and the wives all agreed.

I have no reason to be friends with a woman so that makes it easy

To me they're really cool people. Their reasoning for not wanting to be with each other isn't my business.

Friends with the man.
Friendzone with benefits the woman.

From a divorced guy, if you’re surface level friends it really doesn’t matter. But if there is a long friendship, choose the one that you’ve known longer or feel more loyal to. After enough time has passed, they won’t care as much.
But during and right after the divorce, you don’t want to be the person that knows details about both of their lives
