These things are all over the world in every ancient culture
Feather Indians
Dot Indians
Chinese
Japanese
Africa
Central America
South America
Middle East
Europe
It’s like the people who built the tower of Babel didn’t give up when they were split up

That’s because most pictures don’t show the city. You can get a room for like 100 bucks a night right next to it. LINK

Pyramids are awesome to see but Egypt is the worst for tourism.

I think you can sit on the patio of a Pizza Hut and see the pyramids as well
Just as ancient civilizations intended
Grab a P’zone and marvel at their ingenuity and craftsmanship

Most photographers prefer the sand background to the developing city background.

The Pyramids and Egyptian civilization were built where they could flourish and that hasn't changed even with modern technology. Egypt still requires that geography for their means.

Fun Fact: Cleopatra lived closer in time to the invention of the iPhone than she did to the building of the Great Pyramids of Giza.
Fun Fact 2: When the Great Pyramids of Giza were being built, woolly mammoths still lived in parts of northeast Asia.

Memphis?
That was in Cairo at the Stienberger Pyramids hotel.
What I didn’t know when I took that pic was that I had already caught some kind of Egyptian respiratory infection that was going to land me in the hospital twice.
In the first pic, the haze you see isn’t humidity.
