There is actually a group of members from Chewbaccus in nola that create an art installation and caravan over there. If I was going to go, that's who I would link up with to go.

These people are morons. No sane person wants to live like a filthy hippie in the desert for a week.

The pics from this event always look absolutely incredible, but I enjoy showering way too much to think I'd be ok going to Burning Man.

Given the remoteness of the location, the extravagance of the art, and the expenses incurred I doubt there are a ton of poor, ugly, losers there.

Estimated costs for a trip, per Time: $2,300

At a quick glance Burning Man appears to be a rejectpalooza but after digging a little deeper it seems to be an event for people who like to party and get creative.

10 Principles of Burning Man
It honestly sounds like an event that goes against everything the media and politicians would like us to believe are an integral part of our society.

Added to the bucket list.

Glad to know there are at least a handful of attractive brawds at this event. But I have no desire to frick a sweatey woman-( sweating while I'm fricking her is fine). Nor do I want to frick when I'm hot and sweaty. Let me get a shower and some AC and I'm good to go. I can't imagine anything more horrible than that environment. Unless you add mosquitoes.

Nonetheless, I have no problem with the attendees enjoying themselves and doing their thing. It just isn't for me.

Also, don't all these folks go right back to their normal lives when this is over? Seems like it's a bit disenginuous but to each his own.

I dunno man why not, it looks like fun. If I had a week off I can think of a lot worse ways to spend it.

I guess it makes me gay but I'd like to go to this one day.

I do not think tickets are that easy to obtain. From what I understand, its a lottery system now and tickets are gone pretty quick

Is that any relation to TurboSquid? (on Gravier Street)

I'd have never have thought that judging by the crowd size. So with that massive amount of people there are still lots who weren't able to get in?

I watched "Spark - A burning man story". It was back three years or so. It was the first year they used a lottery system. They said they had 75K spots available. They had 4 times that many people who applied...

Jesus that's crazy. There's plenty or room though, why leave all that money on the table.

Yes. I fought my brother in there at BM 2005. The people who run that camp are fricking nuts.
