The last lynching in America happened in 81.

You are really trying to suggest that a rope and a hangman’s noose...with zero other context, equates to racism.

That there’s zero chance that a noose, which has hanged men of every stripe color and creed, even during the heyday of actual racial lynching, might not have any other meaning.

That modern media hasn’t featured hanging at all in a non racial sense

No...you are sticking by your notion that any elongated fibrous substance fashioned in a loop is UNDENIABLY, INDUBITABLY, RACIST!

You don't fire people for social media outrage.

Unless you're a chicken shite statist.

t certainly appears to have done that in this case. Losing students is losing money, and they were losing at least one student if these people weren't fired

They didn't lose any students.

What a fricking joke of a country we live in. A fricking picture of a piece of rope can get you suspended or fired, and a plant can get you arrested.

However if you are a black person, like the UGA professor, you can public talk about killing whites and it is no big deal and you get in no trouble.

Again, we fire people who are dumb and don't think. If a social media outrage is caused by an employee being dumb and not thinking, then they are gone.

The article states at least 1 student was being held out of school, I think it is a pretty safe assumption that student would have gone if these people weren't fired and probably others. Plus, it's horrible publicity, which is most likely the main reason why they were fired

I wouldn't call it irrational to fire someone for doing something clearly stupid and that clearly has a negative impact on their place of employment.

The last lynching 1981 lol ok if you believe that take care.

The last lynching with a rope wasn't even that let alone other methods.

And I said they were stupid. I didn't say racist.

Not quite. Whites used it to intimidate. Courts used it as a form of punishment. Personally stupid to take a picture of it. Pictures get you every time I didn’t see but I can guess Facebook post?

It’s objectively researched. It’s not hard to confirm.

Sorry people stopped being lynched so you couldn’t get hung up on it?

How about some of that evidence? And “other methods” wouldn’t be lynching now, would they?

From the NAACP

quote:

From 1882-1968, 4,743 lynchings occurred in the United States. Of these people that were lynched 3,446 were black.

And now we look at crime statistics

quote:

This reporter took a look at the 2007 U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics report. In that study, the agency reported that blacks were victims of 7,999 homicides in 2005. It corroborated Giuliani’s claim that 93% of blacks were killed by other blacks, or about 7,440 murders in that year alone.

So...every year, Black people kill roughly twice as many black people as lynching killed in 100 years.

Facts suck, huh?

And neither do I think of black bodies hanging. Exactly my point.

Objectively researched through wikipedia (my god) where it says it was "one of the last lynchings ".

Also, before using your PHD knowledge you should've looked up the definition of lynching which is 'an extrajudicial killing by a mob or group'.

It's a common misconception that lynching means to hang with a rope.

Oh, so by your own admission, the rope itself isn’t even necessary bound with lynching.

So a noose on it’s own doesn’t have racial connotation.

Thanks for playing.

I’m sorry that black people aren’t being killed by mobs of klansmen as much as you’d like them to be anymore.

Maybe Jussie can whip you up some more fake hate crimes you disingenuous twat.

Not a noose necessarily but if you are stupidly taking a picture and sharing it don't be surprised if people think that's what you mean.

You know since you and other people think lynching just means hanging and that's most of the pictures we see.

Also, if you see nooses hung on civil rights statues it transforms from stupidity to definent racism.

Have a nice day and take that black dick out your mouth.
