Most people aren’t living in a very specific past and blindly applying that bias into all present situations regardless of facts. They also aren’t forgetting how many immigrants move to US each year from places where hangings are still common today. It’s extremely biased for anyone to think Blacks in the US own all images of nooses and hangings.

Hangings are the only legal means of executions in Pakistan where blasphemy, adultery, and assaulting modesty of women amongst others things can possibly get someone the death penalty.

Other countries where hanging is primary or even the only legal means of execution: Iran, Iraq (see Saddam Hussein), India, Egypt (for civilian convictions), Japan, Singapore, Somalia, Botswana, Equatorial Guinea, and others.

Hangings were also prevalent in 20th century across the world including how a fair amount of Nazis were dealt with after WWII. It’s wasn’t until later in the century that most of Europe and Australia quit using hangings and/or death penalty in general. In Canada even though there hadn’t been any since 1960s hangings were only legal means of execution until 1998.

Thats not including the ones by terrorist groups or drug kingpin families or other lynch mobs across the globe (or other forms of execution).

Without any overt signs of actual racism anyone who uses an object by itself to justify labeling people as racist without waiting on any additional facts or context is closed minded to reason and objective thought and also probably closed off to having any notion that their attitude and bias may be what is playing the biggest part in any negative interactions with other races. Thought process becomes a perpetual closed loop for them locking them into their views that everything negative is the fault of someone else and that they are owed, and they also become blind to members of their own race taking advantage of their closed mindedness to enrich themselves in various ways. KKK did this as well.

This is going to seem weird. But I could look at a noose every day and never once associate it with black people. That’s just weird.
