An anonymous letter in Fall 2016 from a concerned student according to the article.

My dad (passed away) and mom (retired 10 years ago) both worked there for 30 years and I asked her just last week if anyone at that shithole proof reads anything anymore. Do the editors do anything at all, do they have editors?

Could be.

It’s too bad LSU couldn’t find enough evidence to boot their asses last year.

So LSU gave them a slap on the wrist then?

Yes, I'm sure LSU had no idea fraternities were doing drugs and making pledges get drunk until they were told about this a year ago.

If no one talks, it’s he said, she said and they get a light punishment without factual evidence.

Dean Risch entered the old Kappa Sig house during a party that got them booted in the late 90s. I think they had 21 kegs in the house.

To be fair to them, newspaper staffs are insanely understaffed and the demand to turn stories around as fast as possible due to the internet/social media has made things life proofreading more of a thing of the past

The Advocate quoted someone by their last name before introducing the full name in an article a few weeks back. Huge pet peeve of mine. They clearly edited the article or moved a paragraph around without proof-reading the final product. It happens a lot there.

High school journalism students know better than that.

If you can't pass out in your own puke, pour beer, and snort cocaine then what's the point of even going to college?

There is no excuse for this. Those are someone’s kids. All they had to do was give them more cocaine.

No joke, I know you are joking but it is absurd you take 50-100 college guys anywhere in the country and that's happening every weekend. But by golly let's not let it happen at a frat house.

At auburn they haven't allowed kegs in the frat houses for well over 20 years. Which is pretty damn stupid, so you throw keg frat parties elsewhere where people are going to be driving and don't have a place to crash?

I don't disagree with the hate for hazing, but normal college craziness is going to happen.

Is the poor editing on her or The Advocate in this case?

I've seen some pretty big mistakes in that paper before.
