when did this frat go in the can? In the early 80's it was pretty good and perceived as maybe top of the middle tier in LSU frat hierarchy.

I get that hazing happens but seeing someone, who happens to be a pledge, passed out or throwing up at Tigerland isn't necessarily front page news. My pledge year we ended up that way strictly by our own stupidity with no hazing involved.

Obligatory "Sorry for partying, Mom".

LSU has been knowing about hazing for decades. I know for a fact that they turned their head. I hope this family gets LSU for 100 million to end this shite. This is as blatant of a neglect case as there is.

Why does a state and a university leave itself open to this exposure? Who knows.

again, why is everyone blaming LSU, the frat and its members, but no one is blaming the dip shite that consumed the alcohol? Did he drink willingly or was he held down and forced to drink?
Cause if he consumed that much simply by being talked into it, the blame is ultimately on him. This wasn't a gang initiation wher Gruver had to comply or be killed. I'm not saying the frat isn't complicit, but can we blame the kid who actually put the bottle and the weed to his own lips?
