Might as well tear down LSUs campus. Pretty sure it was built on a donated plantation.

Not to mention that LSU's first superintendent was a racist:

quote:

Sherman was not an abolitionist before the war and, like others of his time and background, he did not believe in "Negro equality."[85][86] Before the war, Sherman at times even expressed some sympathy with the view of Southern whites that the black race was benefiting from slavery, although he opposed breaking up slave families and advocated teaching slaves to read and write.[29] During the Civil War, Sherman declined to employ black troops in his armies.

You mean the multi billion dollar levee system that surrounds the city and metro area?

It's not? I've never had any issues, although I have Kentwood I'll still drink out of the tap with no issues.

Half the city? As in 50% of the city is an eyesore? Is that why 12 million people come to visit the city every year?

one of the most poorly run cities in America. All due to ignorance.

Yes maybe so, but that doesn't mean the city is broke.

What I'm trying to tell you is that the City has plenty of money. They are no where near broke. Just poorly managed.

What dumbass minority are these chucklefricks going to put up in place of these statues? I might vomit if they turn Lee circle into fricking Obama Place, or MLK circle.

Stacy Head voted against this all of the other ones though are sad sacks of shite. And not one Mayoral candidate has said one iota about the monuments to remember that too.

Has anyone legit besides LaToya (who was in that city council vote) declared for mayor?

That would be the French Quarter. Now. What % of the city consists of the French quarter?

Not declared yet, but Charbonnet will be the one to beat. She would obliterate LaToya in a debate.
