Waiting for a government compliance officer to show up at my door “ excuse me sir you have not taken your pill today. compliance is paramount in this new world order”

You are misunderstanding my point. There are a lot of elders who end up having to go to congregate-care facilities just because they FORGET to take their meds. It isn't an issue of choice or free will they simply forget. Like most any technology they both have highly useful benefits that people would gladly agree to but they can also be used in nefarious ways.
I get that. It’s like euthanasia. I think people should be allowed to die how and when they want, but one of the arguments for keeping it illegal is that it could be forced on those who have become a burden to others. What if they start forcing psych meds on those who disagree with certain political ideas, or those whose kids don’t like their personality, or want to control them? I worry about the implications if the wrong people are in control of it.

And you know this how?
I’m not saying there is, but how do YOU know?

Well, they now have cameras that you can swallow to do a colonoscopy on you so it shouldn’t be a surprise that they can put a microchip into a pill. That is a very different thing than someone secretly injecting you with a microchip, though. Honestly, it is not even in the same conversation with the Covid vaccine.

Very likely what’s going on here, but the antivaxers will grasp at whatever they can
I'm sure you were bitching about multinational corporations like big pharma pre-2016. Now you shill for them while they team up with the government to implement your fricked up political ideology

You are part of the problem.

If you antivax trumptards just took your 16 jabs we wouldn't have to get Pfizer to do this to you!!!

It’s truly amazing how political the vaccine became
Tends to happen when you tell everyone they need to lockdown for their own good, then turn around and say that BLM protests are more important so you can ignore the lockdowns for those.

When the President is for mandated vaccines to keep your job… then says if you get the shot you won’t get Covid… which turns out to be a huge lie… then they wonder why there is so much distrust in the vaccines .

This is not new. The compliance they are talking about is medication compliance and the information is shared with the care team. One of my clients right now is Otsuka and their Abilify MyCite has this technology.
Abilify treats schizophrenia and bipolar so they want to know people are really taking their meds.

No one believes any of that stupid shite. The democrats, your people, made it political, and here you are still calling everyone names like anti-vaxxers. You’re 100% responsible for the division back then, and you’re STILL mocking people for it even today. How are so unaware and unaccountable?

If you’re latching onto literally anything in order to protest a vaccine you’re an antivaxer. It’s truly amazing how political the vaccine became and yes I know Pelosi and her gang of idiots made it political too, but it was just a few years ago these same people were laughed at nonstop
Let me translate:
"I'm too stupid to grasp the concept that there's a difference between "anti-vaccination" and "anti-vaccination mandates" so I just keep beating the same drum."

I get that.
All I am doing is pointing out like most technology there are legitimate medical reasons that some people would consent to.
Personal anecdote: Years ago my grandmother who lived alone and was doing fine (still cutting her acre yard on a riding lawnmower) took several meds including a coumarin anticoagulant. One month the pharmacy didn't fill the script for the anticoagulant after her doctors visit and she just assumed it not being there was a change ordered by the doctor. So she did not take it for a month. She went back to the doctor for her regular pro time test and they discovered the issue. During that month she was at a much higher risk of stroke. Something like this linked to either my phone or my mother's phone (though it was before smartphones then) would have allowed up to see the issue and rectify it.
Again, I am NOT suggesting there are no nefarious uses for the tech, that is a potential effect of almost every new technology. However, there are certainly positive uses for this type of tech that those involved would consent to. The argument about whether technology should be pursued due to the possible misuse is a completely different issue. There are a lot of issues with smartphones but the VAST majority of people continue to use them based on their personal cost-benefit analysis.
Smartphones, computers, alcohol, weed, guns, etc all have their downsides depending on how they are used. Each has its own individual and societal cost-benefit analysis. One can come to the conclusion the tech in the OP should be "banned" or highly regulated but it doesn't mean there aren't benefits to some people that those directly involved would like to have and be willing to consent to their use.
