Because fake horses are disrespectful or something.
PETA wants carousel maker to stop creating rides with animal figures

They make these outlandish demands for publicity and to stay relevant.
But all it does is make people hate them, and only the most radical animal rights people remain as their supporters.
There are lots of legitimate animal cruelty issues that an average person would support. I don’t support banning leather footballs in the NFL or fake horses on carousels.
