Same. It will be a sad day when he passes. Vey funny and one of a kind talent. He has made some classics that will be his legacy. Also, served in WW2.

They don’t make them like Mel anymore.

It’s a pretty awesome research topic. The vastness and the machine that was the USO.

Lots of future entertainers got their starts doing Jeep Shows for the troops. Dick Van Dyke, Mel Brooks, Mickey Rooney, etc. all performed skits in front of soldiers within miles of the front lines.
