I would agree on the Pacific Ocean. Not a big fan of it, unless I'm fishing or clam digging.

Places like Destin or Clearwater have many more options more enjoyable because of the obvious better weather. If you can't have fun at those locations you're doing it wrong. Or you just really hate it.

Why sweat your balls off under the intense sun, with a million greasy, trashy, rednecks swarming all over the place? That isn't fun. Just to see some girls in bikinis? What are you, a 16 yr old virgin? Not worth it.

The mountains: peaceful, relaxing, quiet, fresh cool air, beautiful scenery, you can stay away from people if you want, but if you do see them then they're a higher class of people than beach trash. Hiking is better than swimming, snow sports are better than water sports.

Mountains are superior to the beach in every single way. Dwi

When I travel alone, I'm on my motorcycle, so it's mountains all day long for me. If I want to ride across vast areas of flat arse, boring land, I'd stay in La. where I can watch my dog run off for a week.

Anyone who hates the mountains is just weird.

And I love the beach as well. But the mountains will always have a much wider variety of activities year round to offer for fun.

Same here.

The first day at the beach is always the best because of the excitement of getting out there. However, it seems like whenever I go, after an hour or so I start thinking "huh...I'm bored now."

I'd argue a good chest deep pool is better than the beach. You can stay in it much longer and drink as much as you're big enough to. You sit in the ocean for a minute and it just beats the hell out of you.

What the hell is wrong with y’all? Who would rather climb a bunch of dangerous rocks when you can sit in a chair with a cold beer watching the sunset with an unlimited supply of arse and titties all around you? I’ll hang up and listen.

Poors don't go snow skiing.

I guess I’m different. I get so bored with mountains pretty quick. The ocean every time for me. A cool ocean breeze, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, grandkids playing in the sand and hot chicks walking around in bikinis

I’d rather hike the Dakota badlands or Sandhills of south west Kansas than spend any time at the beach

Due to the hordes of tourists that have overrun all decent beaches, the beach has become no better than sitting on 85 in Atlanta. I prefer the mountains.

Depends on the arse and titties. Some of the beaches I’ve been to shoulda banned asses and titties.

I am definitely on the side of visiting a beach over mountains but would like to take a vacation in the rockies soon.

That was my favorite part about the 3 years I lived in SoCal

I had both, anytime I wanted them.

Could hike in the mountains in the morning and have dinner on the beach in the evening.

It was incredible.

So you only go to the beach during the week of the 4th of July I guess if this is how you view it.

Kind of like how the scene is on the slopes this time of the year with the crowds.

I like both beach and mountains.

Honest answer?

This place can kill you. Between the animals, the weather, and the sports. Be it skiing or mountain climbing. This place is dangerous.

I like that.

I like both...beach I get to see insanely hot women in basically no clothing. Mountains I get to enjoy nature and being alone in it. Both are great things.

Mountains all day, everyday over a beach.

Besides, it's not like you're climbing mountains all day, monkey.
