People who leave shopping carts out in the middle of the parking lot

Is there anything less considerate and trashy? Especially when the cart drop off bay is not even 100 feet away.
At the Kroger off Houston Levee Rd. in Collierville (Memphis suburb) and a woman decides that after unloading her groceries into her Cadillac, she ain’t got no time for returning her cart to the bay. Said cart began rolling towards my car and I had to stop what I was doing in order to stop it from hitting the front of my car.
It’s always the same type of people too. Fat, lazy women mostly from what I’ve observed.

That pisses me off too. I make my kid return the cart when she's with me to ingrain it in her.

I’ve been in some very blue cities across the country (Austin, Berkeley, Portland) and didn’t see nearly the amount of carts in middle of parking lot than I see in many parts of Louisiana.

If the store isn’t too busy I might not take it to the cart area. They have employees for that.

Huge problem on the westbank. The one consistent demographic I see doing this is 1st generation Vietnamese women.

No hills or mountains so they can get away with it. Craziest thing I've seen in a parking lot was at a Wal-mart in Rifle, CO when a wind storm came through. There were shopping cart projectiles flying everywhere smashing into cars.

You should check out Cart Narcs on youtube. They confront people in parking lots when they leave their carts behind.

People don’t realize how much of a douchebag they are when they do that
A few years ago, I was sitting in my DeVille on a windy day waiting on my uncle to come out of the grocery store, and a cart flew across the parking lot and smashed into the tail light before I could get out and stop it

I push them back to the store or to a cart corral when I am done with mine. I sometimes add others to mine that I encounter along the way. No biggie unless a fatass left it there.
