And it doesn’t get any better when they get behind the wheel. The absolute retardation I see while driving every day is astounding.

When I saw the subject line, I was thinking of my last experience in an airport. And then you said airport. Just last week, I had a couple of times where kids just hit the brakes at the doors of customs, and I legit thought there was about to be a pile up of people.

It’s absurd. I know I seem crazy when speaking out loud to myself when I pass by these morons. “Why would you stop in the middle of the walkway?” I say that and shake my head when passing, then they stare back like I’m the person who’s wrong. No, you fricking retard standing in the middle of where people are walking, step to the side and there’s not gonna be an issue. Had some fgt try to say something to me today in the airport as I walked past where he just stopped walking in the middle of the walkway so I shoulder checked him instead of me walking into oncoming people. He tried to holler at me but I just kept moving and called him a fgt. Got some looks from the people nearby but idgaf get out of the way.

People who just stop or stand in the middle of a walkway…
For goodness sakes, if you feel the need to talk to your group about where you are heading next, move off to the fricking side and have this discussion! I'm constantly saying to myself, I sure hope you don't drive like you walk in traffic!

If they're stopped in the middle of a sidewalk or aisle, I shoulder right through them. frick 'em, I'm not walking around.
If they're walking toward me in the opposite direction while staring down at their phone, I'll give them a "heads up," but that's all they get.
I'm walking in a straight line in/on my half of the walkway/aisle, period.

Stopping in the grocery aisle, standing on one side while their cart blocks the other side. This one really gets me.

Although I don’t agree with you on putting a man on the moon but I do with people standing in the middle of a walkway. It pisses me off walking through the airport and people standing in the middle of the walkway. It’s like you’re in a bumper car trying to get to your gate.

winter texans standing in the aisle at Heb are far worse than airports

Why when ever old people figure out that someone is behind them, they have to turn completely around and look you over?

The same retards that block the aisles in the grocery store.

I like to pass close by and say this is a walkway, not a talkway and keep moving. Smile and nod after delivering that clever quip.

quote:This! Women love to just stop and block the entrance/exit of stores. It drives me crazy. So fricking inconsiderate.
Ran across a group of at least 8 women having a meet and greet between the two sets of doors at the exit to the grocery store.

There are people that walk through grocery store parking lots like damn sloths.
Same people that leave shopping carts in the middle of the aisle. I ram them and go about my business.

i know the people you're talking about. not going to name them but I know.
Fyi, they don't actually have anywhere to be, or anything useful going on in their lives.
Some of them seem to LIVE to be in the way. And they know nobody’s going tell them anything.

They didn’t get old by being careless.

quote:blame it on the digital brainwashing. online, you become inured to the physical world. stay online constantly and you lose the perception of physical space, and your instincts to maneuver in the physical world. the generations that have grown up completely online have lost their social instincts, because dozens/hundreds/thousands of people, in their "world" dont take up any space. the only space they can perceive is that of their own
people have absolutely no spatial awareness

Simple Solution: Eyes up, lower your shoulder, plow through them, prime Leonard Fournette style

not as bad as the people that walk at an angle through parking lot lanes.

I'll throw in the frickheads that must walk 3-4 abreast in a grocery aisle or on a sidewalk. It's fricking crowded in here. Single-file that shite. Or maybe don't bring 8 people to the grocery store.
