Look kid, every other generation except yours thinks detergent is for washing clothes, not eating. You'll grow out of it

Guess what? The generations that follow yours might well ask the same question about your generation when the time comes.

Why dont they adapt and start living in the now instead of still believing the 50's and 60's rules. they need to start to believe those rules are gone now

What rules from the 50's& 60's are no longer relevant?

What are the new rules that we should follow?

Logan548,
You have no clue son. The 60's was the last decade that this country really meant something to the world. This America today is a frickING bad joke.
Your daddy needs to Bitch slap you on a daily basis. RULES, RESPECT, and FAMILY are what made this country respected world wide.
Punks like you are why we lost respect.

Wait until they start to realize the new rules allow spending all their savings instead of passing it on to the younger generation.

And who is running the country now?

That's right. Men and women born in the 60s.

Yeah and the young mans world is what's ruining this nation. I'm only 28 and i can see just how stupid and clueless people my age and younger really are. God please help this country in 15 or so years.

If only America could go back to where Jesus was in the household, courthouse, and school room, we’d have a lot less problems. Back to when families did things together and sat around the table to eat a meal. Back when people weren’t occupied with others business and social media and phones, back when marriages were built on a stable foundation of God’s word and trust - as oppose to one night stands and dating apps.
Back when men were men, and people knew how to cook home made meals

Yea I’d go back to these “rules” you speak of and the way of life that seems lame and uncool.

I was raised by a Marine who fought in the Pacific Theater for three years and a mother who never finished high school. I probably learned more from them that led to my success than I did with an undergrad and graduate degree.

They truly were the greatest generation as they were raised in the Great Depression and had to make it through WWII.

Each generation, including mine, got much more than the previous one. To us, spoiling us was getting a nickel coke on Saturday or a dime to go to a picture show, maybe twice a month.

I did an injustice to my kids and grandkids by giving them damn near everything they wanted. I take blame for that.

So for you to come on here and chastise us of the 50s, 60s (and 40s) doesn't upset me about me. It bothers the hell out of me for your sake.
