"Yours truly"

Now that’s one I always hated because it’s cheesy AF.

Lawyers are really bad about sending their opposite number a nastygram and ending it with something like "my best personal wishes."

I use regards.

Thank you is reserved for when what ever is being asked in the email is answered sufficiently.

I use regards. I also frick with coworkers or close customers who use regards. I’ll change it to retards and call them saying “hey you realize your signature says retards right?” I’ll then send them a screenshot. They 100% of the time freak the frick out.

It’s part of my email signature so yeah, I do it. I’m guessing you don’t get much email use over there at Los Pollos Hermanos?

Nothing wrong with it. It's just a polite way of ending an email.

Now for those that write "many thanks", I find it weird. Just say thank you or thanks.

Does anyone think they really think that? “With warmest regards, I wish this finds you well.”. Hell no.

It's because they work in corporate america where everyone is fake as hell and they kiss butt so they still have a job.

When i worked for a German based company we were encouraged to use Regards or With Kind Regards to sign off, especially when communicating with the Germans. I was told they dont really use pre-emptive thank yous and it comes off as odd.
