A lot of people around where I work and live do this. What is the logic behind it? I've asked some that I know and they say its simply to get out easier. Sure, but its even harder to back into a space than it is to back out of one.

FTR, I back in and will continue to back in while wearing a jersey and cargo shorts.

Keep the fricking flat bills though. Stupid arse looking dunce caps...

My truck turns tighter backing up than it does going forward. A lot of times its the only choice I have to be able to get into a spot in a crowded parking lot.

Frankly I don't give a shite what your opinion is of how I park my own vehicle.

With cameras, it's real easy to back into a space.

It's safer to back into a parking space than it is to back out of one.

Assuming a busy parking lot.

With a back up camera, it is actually easier. That said, I only back in if it is hard to get into the spot forwards.

Every gas plant I ever called on had signs that required you to back in. Evacuate the facility quicker.

A lot of times it's easier to back into a space than it is to pull forward into one if you have a bigger vehicle.

In Georgia there seems to be a pretty big demographic divide on those who back in and those who don't. Just an observation.
