A while back I was standing in my back yard. We have a huge pecan tree. I saw a cat sized squirrel chasing another jumping branch to branch. Well he misjudged the last jump and came up short. He must’ve fallen a good 15’ or so and it sounded like someone slammed a shoe against concrete when he hit the pavers. Fella bounced back up looked around and ran off.

I saw a squirrel miss a branch and fall once while on a deer stand. I thought he was dead. Didn’t move for almost five minutes. But eventually he started rustling and moved on. Knocked his arse out cold. I lol’ed.

I wonder how some people can’t see those 10 foot alligators crossing I-10 in Bayou Sauvage. I guess unless I drive a Brodozer, I’m stopping to let them cross so I don’t damage my car.

Natural selection baw. Sorry you’re too beta to understand.

Nothing alpha about it little dick.

Life should only be taken for purpose; food, nuisance animal, etc. Running down animals on the road in your 84 month financed Z71 is just a-hole behavior no matter how you slice it.

Yeah I know the whole don't avoid animals because you can be at fault if there's oncoming but I'd never intentionally run over an animal. That dude deserves to be gator food one day.

IMO it depends on what kind of snake it is.

I hate snakes, BUT I let black snakes live. Farther down our hill side is an old quarry and old timers tell me that the place has lots of "cotton boys'. I like to think that the black snakes are keeping them at bay because we've never seen them in our fields. But lots of black snakes in our fields and woods.

Mantra: black snakes are good, repeat as needed.

Say no more.

You have to be an a-hole to drive these vehicles. Especially if you are a supposedly grown assed man.

Yeah, that guy’s an a-hole. As long as it’s safe to avoid it, I avoid it. Don’t care if it’s a rattlesnake.

No idea. I have hit animals on purpose, but that's because in the moment I thought it was the safest action for myself and other humans on the road. I felt horrendous.

That isn't "on purpose" really. It certainly doesn't equate to going out of your way to swerve and hit something.

Hell. I walk 3 - 5 days a week along a rural, way off the beaten path road and it is amazing how many assholes zoom by without moving over or slowing down. I am talking about a very out of the way rural road. It's so bad I started wearing my hunters orange to make sure these pricks don't clip me.

Thinking about filling my pockets with some rocks and slinging a couple through their back glass.

I can understand staying in the same lane if there's traffic and hitting animals, but changing lanes to run it over with no traffic is entirely different.
