Exactly George. Don’t set up your voice mail.

I try to explain to my parents I will see I missed their call and call them back ASAP. Usually get 1 min voice mail saying call them back.

Going on 11 years with this number and I've never set my voicemail up.

People can text, or call if I like the number I see when ringing.

I’m in a business that gets a lot of non local calls. These days with the spammers, I like voicemail as anyone that leaves a voicemail is likely a human. Not to mention I know to call them back. Long voicemails are dumb sure, 20 seconds should be the cutoff.

The only time I leave voicemails is for professional calls.

Personal calls, absolutely never. They have caller id, they know I called. If it's an emergency ill text them to call me asap. Folks check texts alot more than they check voicemails.

If they know why you’re calling there is zero reason to leave a voicemail.

equally annoying is people you speak to and work with fairly frequently who leave their names for you before the message.

I love iPhone visual voicemail or whatever it’s called. It’s basically a text

Combined with the sending unknown numbers straight to voicemail my phone barely even bothers me anymore

I screen calls all the time. If you don’t leave me a voicemail, then it’s clearly not important.

If I don’t have your number, there’s a 0% chance your getting a call back. But yeah, if my fiancé left me a voicemail everyone I missed her call I would but an end to that quick

The worst are people who leave a voice mail that simply says “hey call me”

like no shite you want me to call you
