yet other poster from another thread thinks it's a a disaster for society that millennials are choosing to not have children.

Well, in today's world, I'd opt to not have kids. I live in N.O. and if you want your kid to get a decent education, it's pretty much private or parochial schools. Talking to a lady yesterday and she told me it cost her $10K a year to send her daughter to a Catholic High School in the city, and that's years after grade school tuitions.

The cost of raising a kid is crazy expensive now.

When I’m in charge, the FBI will come bursting into the restaurant and sterilize the mother right on the table compliments of the taxpayers.

I’d like to see this bunch rounded up and put in one of those illegal alien detention centers.

the cost of rasing a kid right is crazy expensive. That’s why the poors have so many kids they just have everything handed to them but it does nothing but create even worse situations for everyone. It’s one giant cycle of poverty

My mother carried a horse strap for occasions such as this. A split piece of leather with a thin, flat metal piece in the middle.

Needless to say, I'm a very polite, quiet man.

That’s what my tuition was in the early 2000s. After grade school too. After my brother did the same too.

I was disciplined with the belt and prickly barbed switches pulled from the cherry laurel tree. It did not take many sessions with those to know my parents meant business.

One time, I smarted off to mom and she pulled over and got a piece of blown-out truck tire in Powell, Texas, and whipped at me in the back seat. My brother and sister parted like the Red Sea.

The black marks were still on the headliner when we sold the '77 Thunderbird.

Why I rarely dine out these days, to be honest. Even my last visit to Momofufu ko was distorted by some whiny little brat. Parents were from Dartmouth.

When my son is being disobient and starts crying or throwing, I just take him outside away from the other patrons.

It wasn’t fun for me and your mom to take you out to eat either. Have some patience

This is something that parents should handle before they go out in public..

I really use to be scared that if I acted up, my parents were going to embarrass me (slap the shite out of me, yell at me and make a scene, etc), which they would have. Well, at least they convinced me they would.

For some reason I always notice kids start acting up when their parents come around. I have two little nephews and they can be as good as gold.. Acting like normal kids, playing, etc.. When their parents come around it's like they turn into monsters. I can't figure that shite out.

What’s happening to the OT? You have people defending shite kids running around restaurants.

Next thing people are going to start defending fat people.

when my son is with my ex wife who has custody full-time except for every other weekend when he's with me. When it hits 630pm with her, he turns into a monster and is a complete dick to anyone and everyone (I've witnessed it) and want to go to bed at 7. When he's with me for the weekend we can be out and about or stay up at home until 11pm and is a golden child and never cry one time. It'll be 1030 and I'll ask him is he wants to go to bed and hell always say no to me and wake up at 530am ready to roll
