When I’m in the left lane already going 80mph because everyone else in the right lane is going 65-70mph and some dickhead comes up behind me right on my arse pisses me off more. Alabama has a state law to get your butt out of that lane. You can drive for 1.5 miles while not passing and get away with it.

The left lane is for passing. finish passing, pull over and let someone else pass and pull over.

It's pretty SOP here for LEO to do this for DWI/Drug purposes, too.
I've had to explain to many TX drivers that they are not, in fact, allowed to just sit in the left lane, no matter how fast they are going.

While I agree with not camping in the left lane and policing everyone else, I agree with this even more. If I'm going 80 to pass up a line of cars doing 60 in the right lane, your dumb arse better not run up on me doing 100.

They should write tickets for left lane pokes more than speeders. I would. It seems to be the Texas license plates, old people color vehicles such as beige and their style cars like Honda CRVs. I see black woman on their phones texting holding up the middle lane.

Agree but sometimes if I’m bored I’ll do a right lane run (with little chance of success) just to laugh at everyone in the left lane scrunching up close and tight to protect “their spot.”

Take the toll lane if you’re in that big of a hurry. We left on time and prefer to drive safely. That’s what speed limits are for.
