It’s got some of the best sand, and has great warm water. It’s a one of the best beaches for traditional beach activities.

but as far as being “pretty”, there are thousands of better ones.

I went to Lagos last summer and it is incredible to look at. But that sand sucked and the water was freezing.

Prettiest beach I’ve ever been was Laguna Beach. With the hills and houses everywhere, reminded me of Greece. Only thing is it was August and the water was FREEZING. Really didn’t expect that to be honest.

Like you say, it's a great beach for classic beach stuff but it's lacking in surrounding scenery compared to lots of other beaches.
