how it's the white man's fault.
Because after what happened to Arbery, people of color now need to walk in the middle of the street so they are not accused of braking into people's houses.

people that die here in ATL area are almost always just too damn lazy to walk 100 feet from the bus stop to the crossing. They just walk straight across, even with small children.
I've noticed a huge uptick in the number of idiots walking across busy 4-lane roads - with speed limits of 45 MPH

what are they trying to say here? Vehicles are racist? Blacks don't look both ways? IDK why they worded it like this

In the past two days I have said ‘that idiot is going to get hit’ while I was driving about 10 times. Twice it was white people.

Absolutely this. They can’t…put…them down.

Depends on where you are. It's almost all cracker meth-heads playing frogger on Sherwood.
Head down around the Greyhound station for boss level frogger.

I’ll say this…. People think that lil dude that lights up and indicates you can walk through the crosswalk is gonna save their dumbass. You still need to look for cars before you walk dumbass

I see you are a big fan of asking for data to represent your comment, may I ask for you data behind their being no or very poor sidewalks that cause them to walk more out of necessity.

Data is collected by making observations
But black people walk in the middle of the street of NOLA, too, and there are plenty of sidewalks (old city where ppl used to walk more), and a lot better public transportation than BR.

You know they have zero data on the numbers of indigenous people being hit by cars, it's just a catch-all for anytime a journalist or researcher wants attention.
Back during the communist lockdowns of 2020, some outlet in Houston put out a study claiming that People of Color were being most affected by covid. They included a heat map to demonstrate, and it was a perfect overlay for a density map of Houston. Surprise surprise, people of color lived in the denser parts of the city.

Its common knowledge amongst city planners and I am in that world. I don't those links at my fingertips but here is what I found with a quick google search. Here is one study LINK
Here is a Washington Post article that talsk about what I stated but it is behind a pay wall. LINK

Yea well, data is much more than you driving around NOLA and reporting back to us what you see. And NOLA is but one small city in the entirety of the US.

Everyone is jumping on the black folks part, but the study shows that this is affecting everyone at historic levels.
From the article:
Almost every week on here there is a post about speeding in neighborhoods and crashes. Its people driving faster and more distracted in bigger vehicles that make it harder to see blind spots. And frankly, just more reckless driving.
From the article:

"the percentage of speeding-related pedestrian crashes involving children ages 15 and younger more than doubled in the previous three years."
