We have voted and passed it twice in local elections

This has been voted on since like the late eighties. I'm sure later there will be threads started about how long the wait at the light was to get on Airline from whatever street since it's a holiday for a lot of folks but the lights don't know that.

That's how it started then of course greedy shitheads took over the movement promising people some utopia that will "be run like a business" tag line. And for the record I live in St. George
. Lest we forget our tax dollars being squandered and mis used by the city/parish.

The city of St. George has been pro active on many thing ebr just left alone for years.

Right now I grade the city as an A.

The vote for the school district will likely fail because the city parish and ebrpsb learned their lesson with central and will be spend god only knows how much money getting people to the polls to defeat it. Them St. George will have to fight another legal battle - one does have to question if the money being spent against the independent school district is even legal.

Now if you want to talk about shitty government just look at the shite show the city parish has been since Kip.

It’s St George. The city with rent a cops no public works but a high paid mayor and council. Any way to keep pulling the wool over their eyes they keep doing. Example A removing a painted pedestrian bridge that no one can see from their house……..it’s sad really. Wonder how much this is costing the settlement of St George tax payers……
Where is he wrong?

It is not painted. It is ASTM A242 Corten steel. It formed a stable external layer of rust that eliminates the need for painting.

Original opener didn’t sell his parking lot
That’s free $ from truck parking and staging areas for disasters
That parking lot is valuable

The bridge hasn’t been used in many years. I guess it was an eyesore to some but it didn’t bother me and I drive under it every day. As to all of the St George tears, eat a big bag of dicks, pussies.

Sam Haynes owns that land between the railroad tracks and I-10. It goes all the way to the bridge/concrete plant along the interstate. It's 200+ acres including the Home Depot parking lot.

Can confirm. Seen with my own eyes. Bridge gone. Intersection looks much better. More open sky and less industrial look. Now need that toilet filled in and all that carnival ride garbage hauled away.

Anything that shows continued demise and destruction of that shitty trashy water and amusement park with the associated clientele is reason for celebration if you live near there.

Hated that place ever since it opened. So yeah, I’m pretty happy. Hope everything gets hauled away one day for scrap.

I mis spoke and admitted it about the mall. I was thinking of the original map. But shoot holes in this statement on this post. I’ll wait??

Also I don’t live in BR or St George which are equally shite holes. You think airline hwy is a border wall to all that’s wrong with BR?? Then call someone stupid??? Ok there buddy. Enjoy your pretend city with higher taxes with WORSE crime and problems it had before. GO ST GEORGE!!!!! You won you won.

So they removed a derelict bridge that hasn't been used in years and this is somehow a dunk on St. George? Man that's a stretch.

Would you care to cite your source for worse crime? If you'd like to start with just homicides per capita I'd be delighted to help you.

After that we can move onto shootings and close with percentage of suspects arrested for violent crimes in St George who have north baton rouge addresses.

But since you seem to know, you go first.
