Does the executive have a compelling state interest in restricting his right to have mass? If the answer is yes, he can.

Like I said, truly amazing.

You have executives and police stating that “protesting is non-essential” on top of all this.

I really cannot understand how y’all are perfectly fine with this.

This is the situation where “slippery slope” is actually applicable.

No one is banning any religious group from meeting.
Sure they are.

They literally cannot meet up and have mass.

Technological advancement should not affect the base situation at play.

If you make that argument, then literally every “right” is at play.

Any major preacher like him is a POS.

That comes with the territory.

But, it is definitely more amazing how people support shutting down religious services and banning allowing religious groups to meet out of fear.

That is mind blowing.

That is truly amazing to see.

You are spot on.

Snell is a narcissistic sociopath but he’s on the right side of this issue. He’s done an excellent job of using this situation to profit off of the weak minded by appealing to their emotions, I’ll give him that.

Muh slippery slope!!!!!

Oh wait, the evil executive is now trying to reopen the state.

There's something truly amazing about this, but it unfortunately is the actions of the same demographic that keeps this state dead last in every metric. It's unfortunate we are stuck with so much uneducated trash, but thankfully one is locked up and another is too busy referring to himself in the third person.

And that changes what?

You just stated that the governor has the ability to curtail rights and you support him if he “has a compelling argument”.

What is a “compelling argument”?

Is that defined somewhere?

You do realize that Snell can be an absolute POS and you can still be completely supportive of some fricked up views at the same time, right?

Why is what he is doing any more irresponsible than everyone going to the grocery store?
Why is what he is doing any more irresponsible that the clergy actually going to his services?
What effect does this have on your life that you feel you need to have a say in him being able to host services?
People have lost their minds if this pastor is something that we are supposed to hate on because he is holding church services.

Yes, a compelling state interest has been around since the 1950s and has been applied thousands of times.

We can agree to wait this out and let the 5th Circuit and SCOTUS unanimously reject the absurd contention that this is a violation of rights.

I clicked on Woody Jenkins City of Central News live cast of this guys Tuesday service and he is up front on stage and says “to all my haters. I’m going to practice social distancing with my girlfriend.” He then stuck his tongue down her throat and dipped her right there in the service.

The state is 100% violating the right to free assembly, freedom of religion and the pursuit of happiness.

Just can’t wait to hear how loud you frickers scream about “muh taxes” when JBE goes to balance the budget in 3 to 4 special sessions to be able to do so in an even year.
