Pretty sure there isn't a spot in the Constitution that talks about compelling arguments.

And if it did I'm pretty sure our founders wouldn't define a virus with a statistical mortality rate of of essentially zero as one a compelling argument.

Pastor spell is prolly a piece of shite, usually people like him that have mega churches are, but he isn't a piece of shite for opening his church and allowing those who chose to come worship to come.

And you talk constitutional law...sorry but the Constitution is the Constitution is pretty damn clear. 200+ years of lawyers misinterpreting it doesn't change that fact nor does politician twisting the meaning.

What a weird fricking flex.

I graduated summa in finance. That doesn’t mean I’m entitled to spout off irrational nonsense on public forums with impunity.

I don't know what to think.

I mean, can all these kids families not feed them?

And if you read through, it only mentions they get breakfast. The rest is for games and Sunday school supplies.

Then it goes on to brag about the number of baptisms and such.

I want kids to be helped, but this just seems like more BS.

Technically this is wrong. He tried to give the impression that he was going to run someone down. Hence the assault charge.

I’m just saying I’m not sure who is the biggest POS in this situation and I lean to the protester. I mean who goes out to protest people going to church

There’s video of this guy verbally assaulting parishioners but they didn’t press charges

They’re both pieces of shite.

No sense in defending either of them.

spreading propaganda on his behalf.

What propaganda is that? Do you consider the 1st Amendment propaganda?
Is he a giant POS that will likely burn in hell for his actions? Yeah
Are these made up charges because he showed his arse and passed off the police chief and all the Karens in Central? Yes
Is there really anything illegal going on here? Not unless you count the actions of the police.

You're free to disagree with the law. I'm just giving you the law and you're giving us what you believe the law should be.

What irrational non sense? Most of y'all can't seem to understand that you don't have to support the person to support his right nor support the action.

I think pastor Snell is a piece of shite, but I support his right to have church and if people volunteer to go their to worship then so be it.

If you want to live in fear than quarantine in the house and have everything delivered. No reason for you to leave at all if you don't want to, but don't get mad and demand others do the same.

Apparently the neutral magistrate who found probable cause thinks so.

Why is what he is doing any more irresponsible than everyone going to the grocery store?
Why is what he is doing any more irresponsible that the clergy actually going to his services?
What effect does this have on your life that you feel you need to have a say in him being able to host services?
People have lost their minds if this pastor is something that we are supposed to hate on because he is holding church services.

They can do whatever and still be called an idiot. I am not for arresting these people or handing out citations.

But he's not a good guy. Bragging about having bus loads of people at the church, especially people in the extreme risk of dying category is fricked up. Stating anything about faith being a deterrent to the virus is irresponsible.

Btw I was responding the mouth breather that asked me what what's it's like having a sub 90 iq. I wasn't really trying to flex, more calling out the mouth breather for what he is.

Citizens don't "press charges," nor do they decide when one is charged.

The state of Louisiana charges individuals.

Apple does far more than feed 600 needy children every week across the globe. They don’t claim to be a church.

Apple did a ton more to support China's Communist regime and also to spread the virus themselves than this church.

Probably not different but Apple is "moral" when it is financially a benefit to do so and never fail to self promote them doing it (or at least "moral" when it's not hard with no financial penalty for being so).

Wrong. 2000 people are gathering with him every week.
So what about the other 2000 people? When does their responsibility kick in

And just to note I have zero affiliation with this church.

That's not the issue.

The issue is the Pastor's contempt directed at the Word of God about civil authorities
