sorry guy. You are simply proving your station in life.

Anyone with any real world responsibility, would certainly agree with me.

Or maybe Im a rational adult who doesnt make a big deal out of nothing.. If the manager is aware and wants to fire the employee.. so be it. If the "offended" customer wants to shop elsewhere... so be it. The idiocy here is with those that are bent out of shape at a completed transaction because your side was "offended". I apply the same rational to both sides of our offended at all times culture.

I am impressed with your ability to determine the intelligence level and salary of someone who was mentioned in an article.

What's the big deal over less than 1% of the country's population, the transgendered, suing to be able to pee in a bathroom of their choice? That has sparked nation wide protests & law suits. Here, a funeral for a deceased police officer has to allow an employee to hold some stupid belief. Where is the "entrenchment" of a family for a police officer who died while on duty? Which is the bigger deal, big picture?

Why even fire the employee? She was given a job to do upon her being hired. She chose not to do her job.

It would seem that she has resigned.

That makes no sense.. You dont get to choose what someone believes.. The employer can fire them if they deem it necessary. If it was one of mine, Id fire them but I dont get to tell them how to feel.

The article doesnt mention any type of confrontation.. It simply states that the employee got another employee to fulfill the order.. I can clearly see how those intimately involved would feel slighted if the reason was clear but other than advocating the employee be fired, what is the big picture?

These employees did not just "feel", they expressed their beliefs in a way that was offensive to 1) a customer 2) a grieving family. I do love it when liberals express how we should live in their perfect world.

The fact that you see my position as liberal is laughable.. I'm not the one using emotional based arguments based on feelings..

frick off. I'm a liberal, and I'd gladly pay my respects to a fallen officer. Just because I believe we need criminal justice reform and transparency, doesn't mean I think all cops are scumbags.

And what happens when no one on duty that day wants to help a customer who is buying balloons for a police officer?

I hope someone breaks into her home and steal everything she values, and it never caught.
