Is the city paying for the demolition?

You’re better off just going to clown college than getting a degree from UNO

Lot's of people put a lot of time in effort into that parade. I know the city is in a bad situation, but seems they could have made this decision yesterday morning or something.
Cantrell said those who still want to experience a thrilling Halloween fright may do so by walking down South Claiborne and/or Tulane Avenue after 10 pm.

Anyone listening to the interview with UNO dean of engineering?
I do wish they'd stop giving her attention like she is an expert on this matter.

They should do a fireworks show from the roof and play Stars and Stripes Forever.

That was almost cringe worthy listening to her stumble for the correct terms and still get them wrong. Its a fricking man basket and they are setting charges.
ETA She just said "that big piece of thing in the air"

If it was confederate statute it would be down by now

I’m now convinced after watching this press conference that we have the right woman leading the charge. LaToya is everything the city embodies all rolled up into one.
We are going to have a Demolition of demolitions and there is nothing that stops us from enjoying her articulation of facts. She breaks down the scientific names in a way that only some of the locals can comprehend.
PS the crane is becoming more fricked up than they originally anticipated and anticipated the 2nd time, and third time, and fourth time, and fifth time they analyzed it.

Would be "maybe funny" if that crane hit the ground tonight.
