I stopped watching all the press conferences with her because I want to punch my fricking TV every time I see her fat face on the screen

She’s so eloquent though. There are so many smart capable people to run and fix the city and the citizens keep picking these types.

The insurance companies involved in this are ALL going to deny coverage for negligent construction practices. The video by itself is enough to get them out of paying out. Bankruptcies galore are going to happen.

There are a limited number of specialty contractors in the U.S. that do this type of work. I expect them to use what is called "cutting charges" to sever key members of the jib and counterjib in a sequence that allows them to collapse first and then the tower so that it collapses onto the building area.

Has anyone asked the Mayor how long the boil advisory will be when the falling cranes rupture the S&WB pipes? I’m sure the S&WB is all over this preparing for a public advisory right? LOL

I don't doubt this is her usual mindset but I think this whole situation is too big for that kind of shenanigans. People are dead and they can't afford more embarrassment.

This may or may not work... but it seems like the best people are coming to deal with it.
I think they can get the crane down with the explosives. I don't know if the footprint is big enough to contain it. If all the pieces and parts fall on the building, we will probably be ok. Some of this may come crashing down into the street though or maybe across the street which will no doubt cause issues.

I've been involved with some implosions in the past. Loizeaux's (CDI) are the best of the best and ain't cheap. I can guarantee that this is not their first rodeo with something like this. Internet sucks balls for stuff from pre internet days.

I'm not saying she's running it but they are using explosives in a pretty busy part of her city. I'm sure she has some say so.
