Same.

Which would have been a dreadful thought as I watched my wife scramble out of bed and out the house.

then text rolled in saying mass casualty situation everyone report.

Sometimes, I speak and assume people know. The call for "mass casualty" can be a precautionary alert and/or it could turn into that without immediate care.

Does that make sense?

Saying wind was the culprit. Blew them off course.

Oh man... how in the world did everyone miss their landing so bad. I know nothing about parachuting but i would think the military that has done this thousands of times wouldnt be that bad off.

Just talked to wife to see if she heard anything (we live 45mins from work so she was on her way still) she said no details on numbers, or anything. Just that they had plenty medical response for the night, and need everyone to work to relieve each other for shifts tomorrow so some can rest.. i asked her any details like any word on how serious? She said all they told her was it was bad.

Surface level winds in southern Mississippi are calm tonight.

Anyone have any idea what altitude these guys are when over the drop zone?

Saw a comment from the live feed earlier that one of the soldiers involved in the rescue had reported that the worst he had seen so far was a few broken backs

And hanging there surrounded by over 100 other people in various levels of pain, in the middle of the night.

Alright I’m out. I’ll check back in the morning to some good news, hopefully.

Night, y’all.
